Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from Nice little ride I bought this a few months ago and my son loves it. I just really think they should have offered this with bigger tires from the factory it pretty much has no ground clearance.
It does handle well and pulls two grown men pretty darn good. Would of also been nice to had cup holders like a full size rzr and also would be nice to be able to adjust the steering wheel without having to take bolts loose. But overall it is a nice ride for a kid and has plenty of power for a beginner and easy to operate.
Have many plans for it in the near future like a big wheel kit and lower gears possibly a roof and more lighting and also a radio for his tunes. Overall nice little ride. Date published: Overall I am satisfied and my girls love it, that is what is most important. The RZR has been around for about five years and has only been modified a little. The biggest improvement was the addition of EFI.
Power is still provided by a laid-down, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. And, the mill is mated to a fully automatic CVT transmission boasting forward, neutral and reverse gears.
The machine is two-wheel drive only, but we have yet to see a four-wheel-drive sport UTV marketed to youth drivers. The closest thing to it has been the original cc Ace. The little RZR starts easy by using a keyed ignition and a little pressure on the brake pedal. The smallest kid we have safely put behind the wheel is 4-foot Polaris sets an age recommendation of 10 years old. With every purchase you get a safety flag and a free helmet.
Parents can set a throttle limiter, and standard window nets will keep hands from touching the ground in case of a tip-over. It takes us about two minutes of instruction to get any kid up to speed when driving for the first time. It starts every time, and we rarely have to fill it up with gas. We adjusted the chain once, and that was the only maintenance it needed. I guarantee they did lots of testing on it, but my personal view is that they could do a lot more to beef it up.
I would like to see some supports extending to the back of the cargo area and connecting to the top of the roll cage. There is always a slight risk of fire when riding these vehicles through brush and Polaris has had several fire-related recalls in the past.
Seems like including a mounted small fire extinguisher would be a nice safety upgrade. Boats and RVs come with them. There are a number of optional accessories made by Polaris, and plenty more are sure to come onto the market from third-party companies over time.
Polaris does a good job of making their accessories available for the normal price on Amazon, so they are easy to buy. If you are a young rider, and worried about going too fast, even by accident as if, right? Read the instructions first, and get yourself familiarized by watching a few YouTube speed run or speed test videos on this product I have seen there are many online covering this specific make and model, so have at it!
I have seen online how a man took his max top speed to only 5 mph, and tweaked a few other safety features around, as well, so please know that it can be done if it must be done! Author : Efrain Silva Let me first start by saying, dear friend, that this is one of the most commonly asked questions when it comes to the RZR or any similar competing product , and one we want to help answer for you in this blog post.
